59th Annual
Big Deep South Convention
“From Steerage to Captain’s Table.”
The 2027 Big Deep South Convention theme comes from the following passage located on page 17 of Alcoholics Anonymous (the Big Book) in the chapter titled “There is a Solution,”
“We are like the passengers of a great liner the moment after rescue from shipwreck when camaraderie, joyousness and democracy pervade the vessel from steerage to Captain’s table.”
Join the 2027 Big Deep South Committee! There are still several sub-committee chair positions available. Go to the Committee Meetings & Chairs page to see what YOU can do!
